Michio Kaku was born on January 24, 1947, in San Jose, California. He is the son of Japanese immigrants. He studied at Cubberly High School in Palo Alto, California. He was a brilliant student in physics and mathematics. He was also the best player on the chess team of his school. The famous physicist Edward Teller, one of the masterminds of the atomic bomb project, helped the young Michio to obtain the prestigious Hertz Engineering Scholarship. This scholarship is granted by the Hertz Foundation to encourage young scientists to carry out their professional studies. Currently, this scholarship provides $250, 000 to the lucky fellows.
In 1968, Michio Kaku’s career ended with honors in physics at Harvard University. In 1972 he finished his doctorate in physics (first in his class) at the University of California in Berkeley. Later he was accepted as a professor of theoretical physics at Princeton University. In the last 20 years, this remarkable scientist has continued his successful academic career at City College of New York and New York University; he is a successful scientific writer, his major books are: Physics of the Future, Physics of the Impossible, The Universe of Einstein, Parallel Universes: The Alternate Universes of Science and the Future of the Cosmos and Hyperspace, among others.
Michio Kaku is a respected global scientific figure. He is a creator of the String Field Theory, a complex theory of quantum physics that deals with the structure and behavior of the forces of gravity of the universe. Furthermore, he is an entertaining science writer, who says on television programs, conferences and in his physics classes, that we live in a world governed by an orderly and superior intelligence and not by rules of the universe made at random. In this sense, Kaku says that everything that the scientific world calls “random” will no longer makes sense, since we are at a level governed by rules created by a top computer and not by rules determined by “universal chance”.
This brilliant visionary, explains in his lectures and research, that thanks to the current era of “dotcom” in the coming years we will live a new technological revolution unprecedented. For example, as of 2020, chips will be cheaper than a sheet of paper, which will be inserted everywhere, both in the furniture of our home and our clothes and human body. We will use Smart lenses or glasses that function as magic mirrors, and when asked any information about people or things that cross our path it will give us an answer in seconds, including genetic and biographical data of people. There will also be computers controlled by our minds and body organ transplants will be done with high medical efficiency.
Everything will change, especially in the field of health, says Michio Kaku: we will live more years, since we will have key information instantly. According to this scientific visionary, doctors will be virtual and when we have any questions, clinical examination, rather than go to the nearest hospital or laboratory, we will go to the bathroom sink in our home which will have adapted technology to give us instant medical results. Inclusive, it will be able to notify us up to ten years before any danger of forming a malignant tumor in our body. The technology of our bathrooms will be able to analyze daily information from our body and warn us of any anomaly, yes friends you are reading correctly, according to Michio Kako, thanks to future technologies, the bathroom in our homes will be able to warn us ten years before possible risks of getting cancer or any other dangerous disease.
